Are you completely new to yoga? Would you like to try out a yoga class and learn the basics in a friendly and non-scary environment? This 5 week course could be the class for you: it is suitable for all ages (over 19yrs) and no previous experience is necessary. Iyengar yoga emphasizes the importance of working with precision in the practice of the poses. It is a progressive learning approach where you will build a stable foundation before attempting more demanding work. A regular yoga practice can improve mobility and balance, overcome stiffness, build stamina and encourage correct posture. You can relieve stress and enhance a sense of calm and wellbeing. Come along and learn how to perform yoga poses confidently and correctly.
